It is kindergarten registration time at Shenandoah Elementary School. We are asking parents to
call the school office between March 7- March 18, 2022, between the hours of 9 AM and 2 PM,
to register their child for our kindergarten program. Parents will be asked the child’s name, the
child’s date of birth, parent name, and parent contact information.
When you call in to pre-register your child, we will get the information that we need to begin the
registration process. Once phone-in registration is completed, parents will receive an email with instructions to register their child online through the SSC PowerSchool portal. In this same
email, parents will be able to sign up for one of the four available sessions for kindergarten
round up on April 14 (2 sessions) or April 19 (2 sessions). Sessions will be from 3-4 PM and
4-5 PM on these two days. Parents/guardians need to accompany the child to Round-Up. Your
child will spend some time with the kindergarten teachers while you are in a meeting with Dr.
Kinsey, SES principal, and other members of the SES team.
We ask that parents bring their child’s birth certificate and 2 pieces of mail with the parent’s
name and address to verify that they reside in our corporation. A driver’s license is not proof of
residence. If parents do not reside in our corporation there will be additional paperwork to
complete and an approval process.
