The Inheritance Games
By Jennifer Lynn Barnes

All I wanted was to survive, not to stand out, just to
get by after mom passed. Tobias Hawthorne added me in
his will. I never thought a girl like me would be put into a
stranger's will. The Hawthornes’ have to be the most
interesting people I have ever met. To get everything while
this family gets nothing in comparison. Why? Why would he
do that? I never even met the guy yet, here I am in Texas
trying to figure out why. Will I find out or will I die trying? I
guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Beauty of Darkness Cover

The Beauty of Darkness
By Mary Pearson

Lia
Darkness is soothing, and the moments that you get in darkness can sometimes mean the most. Those stolen moments before battle with someone you need, are what make you more eager to fight. I want to reveal the people who my kingdom thinks they can trust and make them
see that people aren’t who they say they are. The promise of death is on everyone's fingertips, especially my own. I must fight for what I believe, not what anyone thinks that I should believe. But during battle, who will I reach for? Rafe, or Kaden?

The Walls
The walls hear everything, we hear the fighting, the lies, the betrayals. And yet, even the walls come tumbling down at some point. Everyone has their breaking point, and these people here had reached it long before coming here and are still trying to hide it. But I fear that
something worse is coming. There is a darkness within the walls that we cannot recognize, it is unfamiliar paint to us. The darkness grows as the days go on, and when things come down to the clash of a sword or the voice of reason, which will be chosen? Who will come out victorious, the
darkness, or the light?

In Washington State a small town named Forks exists under a near constant cover of rain. It is to this town and its omnipresent shade I now exile myself. I detest Forks.... It is here though at Forks High school that i meet him, Edward Cullen. And about three things I am absolutely positive. First, Edward is a vampire. Secondly, there is a part of him, and I don't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsts for my blood. And third, I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

I moved back to Forks to be closer to my dad, but little did I know what kind of impact that would have on me. He was mysterious. He was almost... dark. He would change his mood, his eye color. His skin is icy cold. He doesn't eat or drink anything. He doesn't go out in the sunlight. Is it possible? No. There's no such thing...right? I keep thinking and wanting to know if he and his family are normal. They don't do normal things. They just seem like they're not...human.
