Update

Good Evening,

There has been a 7-day positivity rate, high weekly cases per 100,000 residents, and high community spread that account for the majority of the state being in Red this week per ISDH COVID-19 Dashboard. At this time, everyone should consider themselves a risk for exposure to COVID.

In order to keep us safely in school, continue to wear masks and be vigilant with daily symptom monitoring prior to sending students to school. Report any positive COVID results/exposures to school. Most importantly, keep students home if ill with any type of illness until symptoms have resolved, student has been tested, or student has been seen by a medical professional.

Please continue to use resources available such as coronavirus.in.gov, cdc.gov, and the Shenandoah School Corporation Reopening Plan to guide you as we continue to navigate through these challenging times.

If we all work together, we can achieve our priority of staying in school and keeping our students and staff safe.

Sincerely,

Ron Green

Superintendent
