It is our pleasure to welcome Dr. Kyle Barrentine as the new Superintendent of Shenandoah School Corporation.
With nearly three decades of service as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and Superintendent, Dr. Barrentine comes to Shenandoah from Nettle Creek Schools, where he served as Superintendent for the past three years.
While at Nettle Creek, Dr. Barrentine and his team were able to implement an instructional framework that provided a common language district wide as well as providing a collaborative leadership model to establish career ladders for all staff.
Dr. Barrentine is excited about joining such a high-performing district and continuing the great work of Mr. Green, his team, and all the staff of the Shenandoah School Corporation.
Dr. Barrentine is married to Whitney, a 6th Grade science teacher at Noblesville East Middle School. He has two daughters, Bailey (25), who is a first grade teacher at Reagan Elementary in Brownsburg and Kailyn (21), who teaches Kindergarten at Tri-Central Elementary. Dr. Barrentine has a stepson, Aiden, who will be a freshman in high school and a stepdaughter, Sloane, who will be a 7th grader this fall.
