SSC News: Headsup! Bus#2 is running a bit late today so expect your students about 20 minutes later than usual.
SSC News: Fire Drill today at the elementary was due to an inadvertent pull. After a thorough building inspection, students returned safely to their building and normal dismissal is underway.
May 2019 Board Meeting has been rescheduled from May 20, 2019 to Monday, May 13, 2019 due to scheduling conflict.
SSC is on a TWO (2) HOUR DELAY due to fog on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Reminder: Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be beginning ILEARN testing on Monday. Students need to bring a charged device and charger with them this entire week. SMS believes in you! Let's get some work done! Go RAIDERS!
The SMS track meet has been cancelled. In addition, no practice for SMS track.

There was a credible but non probable threat, as determined by the police, today that mentioned Shenandoah High School. The threat was toward a Muncie business.The police have made contact with the individual and will handle the situation appropriately.

Attention SSC Parents: There is an informative and thought provoking article in the Anderson Herald-Bulletin written by Mr. Shane Phipps. The article is entitled, "Why Social Media Can Be Dangerous, Devastating For Teens". This column appeared in the Monday, March 4, 2019 edition. Please review this column and if you believe it to be worthwhile please talk to your teenage (and preteen) daughters and sons about their use of social media, phones, applications, games, etc.
Headsup, there is a semitrailer blocking StRd36 in Sulphur this morning. Drive with caution in the area as authorities work to resolve the issue.
