Shenandoah School Corporation supports your student’s academic success by promoting health in the school setting. One way to provide care for your student is by performing vision screenings mandated by the State of Indiana. On Wednesday September 15,2021, vision screenings will be completed at SSC for 8th Graders. On Thursday September 16,2021, vision screenings will be completed at SSC for 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders.
Due to the importance of these screenings, we ask that you have your child in attendance as long as they are feeling well. If glasses are worn by the student, please make sure that they bring them to school for this exam.
If your child is already being seen for vision by a doctor regularly or you wish to decline the vision screen due to religious exemption, please email school nurse at adrysdale@shenandoah.k12.in.us.
