We've had a few questions regarding SSC's use of ESSER funds and hope to provide some clarification to you.
In 2020, the Federal Government notified states that they were eligible to apply for grants for the purpose of providing schools with emergency relief funds to address the impact of COVID-19. Known as the Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief (ESSER) plan, the federal grant allocated over 1.9 billion dollars to Indiana, which were distributed to schools across the state.
